JIMMY

Jimmy is a Computer Engineering student who loves teaching and helping his community. He has previously worked as a High school teacher assistant, 1-on-1 tutor for IOT (Internet of things) and computer technology at Vaughan Public Libraries, and he was an advisor at several hackathons at York University. Jimmy hopes to eventually use his experience to follow a career as a Secondary School teacher. Jimmy tutors mathematics, Chemistry & Physics at the Academy.

ZACHARY

Zachary is very passionate about his computer science education as it helps him pass on the analytical and logical thinking to problems that the Academy students may encounter. Zach carefully breaks down questions into small pieces for student. He feels good when he sees his students put small solutions together and come up with a full solution and achieve a breakthrough. Zachary tutors students in English and Mathematics at our Thornhill Disera Academy.

Nellie is very passionate about helping students understand the lessons they are being taught and boosting their confidence with regard to their schoolwork. Nellie feels such pride when she sees the eyes of her students brighten because of the way she explained a concept because this shows that they really understand what they are learning.
