My son was tutored here during the year of 2012. His name is Benjamin. He attended Academy for Mathematics & English to improve his grades and more importantly to learn healthy study habits. He suffered from low self-esteem concerning his ability to succeed academically. Not only did he succeed but the experience at the Academy carried him through High School and University with high grades. Upon entering Post-Secondary, he wrote a math test and was awarded credits for math and released from taking the math course. He is now an Electronic Engineer. He is now in the workplace where he has achieved high respect, increased responsibility and remuneration. The best thing we ever did for him was to enroll him with your Academy in Newmarket. The Academy for Mathematics & English is a great place to learn! The place helped me a lot with my work! I am in grade six in school and my Math is at a grade eight level! How do they do this? Well, they have tutors who help you understand all the work they give you. They first find your strengths and weaknesses and help you improve in your problem areas. It is a great place to learn and it is fun.
I would like to tell you that, I think the Academy is a great place to be, if you want to achieve your goals in learning. The whole Learning Centre is well organized, and the people are very polite. I enjoy the Academy for Mathematics & English, and that is why I am re-enrolling for a second year. The Academy has shown me that, you can’t just expect to learn by doing just one page on a subject, but practice will help you to get where you want to be in the future. For me, the Academy has helped my marks improve. In Math, I went from a C- to a B+, which to me is a great improvement.

Since I started attending the Academy, my marks in school and confidence in class have improved. I have been taught new techniques to help me understand topics that I once struggled with. Mostly, I come here for help in Math, but when I have a problem in Physics or Chemistry the tutors are more than willing to give me a hand.
