Super Readers Graduate

Literacy opens the door to almost all of academic and lifelong learning. We’re so proud to share a picture of our recent Super Readers Graduate Jana!

Thanks to the power of our revolutionary Super Readers program, Jana is now a fluent early reader – having developed the foundational literacy skills which will support all of her future school learning! Well done Jana, and well done to her two amazing tutors, Vanessa and Jennifer!

Student of the Month

Congratulations to Anthony, our October Student of the Month award winner, from our Glen Abbey, Oakville location!

Anthony received this award for his remarkable progress in his English studies. Upon receiving this award, Anthony remarked: “I’ve enjoyed my time at the Academy and have learned a lot from the Grammar and Writing sections. Knowing where and when to punctuate really helped me on my school book report as well as with my story assignments. I got A’s on all of this because of all of the advice I received from Daniel. All in all, whatever I learned here significantly helped me in school!”

Anthony’s tutor, Daniel, reports that as Anthony continues to apply what he learns in his Grammar studies, his writing has significantly improved. As well, his vocabulary has expanded and his confidence in his “voice”, noted through his creative writing, has grown considerably! Reading his written pieces is always a pleasure and his grades at school have improved because of the time and effort Anthony devotes to his studies here at the Academy!

Student of the Month

We’re excited to share with you our August Student of the Month – Eric!

Eric is an English student who brings a positive attitude, consistent effort, and contagious enthusiasm to the Academy every time he crosses the threshold! He is eager to learn, asks questions to augment his learning, and is a strong, creative writer! His tutors, Daniel and Jennifer, are proud of the results Eric has shown with our English program and look forward to continued growth.

Student of the Month

Congratulations to our recent Student of the Month – Michelle!

Michelle attends the Academy for Mathematics & English at the Glen Abbey, Oakville location and has proven her analytical skills repeatedley. Michelle’s tutors – Bryce and Jennifer – have worked hard to ensure Michelle understands each unit she tackles.

Michelle’s homework is always completed and she makes sure she asks for clarification the second she needs help. As a result, Michelle has progressed steadily through her Course Outline and is poised for success this Fall as she moves into Grade 7!!

Student of the Month

Our winner for Student of the Month is English student Rahul Nath, Grade 5 at Heritage Glen Public School here in Glen Abbey!

Rahul has been with us since day one and has achieved tremendous success with our program!  He consistently receives 100% on spelling tests, as well as grammar and vocab worksheets.  He is incredibly motivated to improve his Reading Comprehension and Creative Writing skills and always arrives with a smile and a strong eagerness to learn. His tutors Daniel and Tania enjoy working with this enthusiastic student and are doing a great job motivating Rahul to become a solid writer!

We look forward to seeing continued outstanding results from the amazing Rahul!
