Does advertising work? If this question was posed to Dave and Karen Scicluna, the newest Oakville franchisees, their answer would be a resounding YES!

At the Grand Opening of the Glen Abbey Academy for Mathematics & English on Saturday May 7th, 2016 an astounding number of evaluations were booked. This number continues to grow and has now, after only 2 days of operation, reached epic proportions of over 50 evaluation appointments.

Where did these enquiries come from? The advertising done for this new Academy was firing on all cylinders! Families were attracted to visit the Grand Opening by the flyers; the mobile sign; the signs on the pylon; the window posters; Facebook advertising; the website; an advertisement in the local Oakville Beaver newspaper; the A-Frame sign and a promotional table set up outside the Academy.

A tremendous effort was put into the advertising and the booking of appointments by a combination of Dave and Karen and the head office team. Well done everyone!

Thanks to Dave’s tireless efforts some of the tenants in the plaza also contributed various prizes to the Grand Opening of our newest Academy. Refreshments and coffee were provided by Symposium. Gift cards were also received from Iris Nails & Spa and Canadian Pet Connection.

Already students have been enrolled and the first classes are scheduled for Tuesday May 17th.
